About the numbers:  For every kilowatt created by a solar electric system, about 2 pounds of CO2 are kept from escaping into the atmosphere, compared to a coal fired electricity plant.  The kilowatts shown on the graph have been produced by SunPower brand panels that incorporate a data-logging system.  These systems have been designed and installed by High Noon Solar.  Not every solar electric system High Noon Solar has installed is represented by these numbers.
