GJ Chamber Solar Program
The Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce has joined with High Noon Solar to offer solar rebates to Chamber member businesses and employees of these businesses. These rebates, up to $10,000, are in addition to all current utility, state, and federal rebates available.
Commercial Rebates
For commercial businesses, solar systems over 10KW will receive a rebate for $0.20 per watt, up to $10,000. This rebate comes in the form of a check after the solar system has been installed, just like current utility rebates. Businesses have to be current members of the Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce and must sign up via this link or, when calling High Noon Solar, make note that they are a Chamber member business so the rebate paperwork can be started at the beginning of the process.
Residential Rebates
Businesses that are Chamber members also benefit by being able to offer a rebate program to their own employees, with no cost to them. The SunPower Solar Alliance Program rebate is available for residential applications as well as commercial situations. In addition to the benefits businesses already offer their employees (such as health insurance and a 401K), Chamber businesses can now offer their employees a solar rebate benefit program. Residential customers qualify for $0.40 per watt in rebates, up to $2,000, with the SunPower Solar Alliance Program. As with the commercial program, the rebate check comes after the system is installed, just like the utility rebate checks, and Chamber member employees must sign up at the beginning of the process by using this link or, when calling High Noon Solar, make note of the Chamber member company they work for.
